1988年5月4日至8日,中国共产主义青年团第十二次全国代表大会在北京召开。出席会议代表2027名。党和国家领导人出席了开幕式。胡启立代表党中央向大会致贺词,大会通过了宋德福作的《在建设有中国特色社会主义的伟大事业中继往开来艰苦奋斗》的工作报告。大会对团章的部分条文作了修改,通过了《关于实行团员证制度的决议》,审议了《关于共青团体制改革的基本设想》,并第一次审改确定了代团歌。大会选出新的中央委员会,团十二届一中全会选举宋德福为团中央书记处第一书记,刘延东、李源潮、张宝顺、李克强、洛桑、刘奇葆、冯军为
From May 4 to May 8, 1988, the 12th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Youth League was held in Beijing. 2027 delegates attended the meeting. Party and state leaders attended the opening ceremony. On behalf of the Party Central Committee, Hu Qili made a greetings to the General Assembly. The congress approved the work report made by Song Defu on “making painstaking efforts to carry forward the great cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics through the years to go.” The General Assembly amended part of the articles of the Constitution, passed the Resolution on the Implementation of the System of Certificate of Association Members, reviewed the Basic Assumptions on the System Reform of the Communist Youth League, and established the song of generation song on the first review. The General Assembly elected a new Central Committee. The 1st Plenary Session of the 12th Central Committee elected Song Defu, the first secretary of the Central Secretariat, Liu Yandong, Li Yuanchao, Zhang Baoshun, Li Keqiang, Lausanne, Liu Qibao and Feng Jun
