素闻甲鱼的习性有“三喜三怕”(喜阳怕风,喜洁怕脏,喜静怕惊)之说。然笔者在多年驯养实践中,得出甲鱼还有以下几点习性: 1、纳凉。每逢夏秋高温(水温30℃以上)季节的晚间九点以后,甲鱼“酒足饭饱”之余,即爬上白天晒背之阳(凉)台上闲悠悠地任徐徐微风吹拂,谓之“纳凉”。若无惊扰,纳凉时间可达一小时以上。纳凉与晒背一样是甲鱼的一大习性,所不同的一个是白天而为,一个是夜晚为之。 2、戏水。甲鱼与螃蟹及其它淡水鱼类一样,亦喜爱在新鲜的水流中,逆水戏耍,谓之“戏水”。
