(Editor’s Note) Since the publication of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Organizational Law of Villagers Committees (Revised Draft), the Opinion Opinion Office has received thousands of letters and hundreds of telephone calls from readers all over the country. Most of the readers who participated in the discussion were mostly the cadres and masses at the most grass-roots level in rural areas. They used their unpretentious words to describe their opinions and suggestions of great value and expressed their opinions on the “villagers committees” that will soon turn positive.
