中国科学技术期刊编辑学会于今年3月在北京正式成立。同时召开了第一届会员代表大会。出席大会的有全国各地代表、有关部门的领导、首都科技界和新闻出版界人士共188人。我国科技期刊已有上百年历史,而成立专门学会,把科技期刊编辑工作作为一门科学还是第一次。科技期刊是纪录和传播科技信息的载体。目前,我国公开发行的科技期刊已达2400多种,编辑人员达15000人。会议期间,国家科委付主任朱丽兰、中国科协书记处
China Science and Technology Journal Editorial Association was officially established in Beijing in March this year. At the same time held the first member congress. There were 188 representatives from all over the country, heads of relevant departments, people from the scientific and technological fields of the capital and press and publications. China’s sci-tech periodicals have been in existence for more than a hundred years, and a special society has been set up to treat sci-tech periodicals as a science for the first time. Sci-tech periodicals are a vehicle for recording and disseminating scientific and technological information. At present, there have been over 2,400 scientific and technological journals published in China with 15,000 editors.
