1977~1983年用长沙白荷苞茄、竹丝茄、墨茄等十个品种进行了分年、分批播种,从对温度的研究结果表明,不同熟性品种对温度的要求是不同的,但营养生长阶段与生殖生长阶段所需温度的比值却是相近的;对长沙白荷苞茄不同生育期的积温和生物学最低温度进行了估算,并将不同播种期从播种到现蕾的积温进行了统计分析,得出直线回归方程。这些指标在实际生产中有一定参考价值。
