Recently, the “New Research Opportunities in Earth Science” edited by the National Science Council (NRC) of the National Academies of Science (USA), one translated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences Lanzhou Documentation and Information Center (Resources and Environmental Science Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences) and other researchers, Chinese version of the book has been officially published by the Science Press. The Earth is a highly complex and ever-changing dynamic system that controls the evolution of the past experienced by the Earth and the humans that live on Earth, the present state and the future environment.
