The first successful use of the new tool resulted in the completion of two horizontally extending boreholes in a single wellbore. The introduction of recyclable whipstocks and the development of a multi-bottom horizontal well drilling method. This article describes the first successful implementation of a recoverable whipstock at the McDougal 1 well in North Brazos, Texas.
