In December last year, the Supreme People’s Court announced the promulgation of “Several Provisions on Evidence in Civil Proceedings” and has been piloted on April 1 this year. Such a fairly specialized legal document on the evidence of civil litigation has produced quite a lot of repercussions in the news media. There was once a judicial interpretation in the 1990s that the sound recordings without the consent of the parties were all without proven validity. This new judicial interpretation is no longer bound by whether or not to obtain my consent in the context of evidence-proofing power. That is,
