Sino-British scientific and technological cooperation project “asphalt pavement maintenance management system” has been put into effect after consultation. The British side provided us with several simple instruments for evaluating the quality of asphalt pavement and the BSM system, a road maintenance management system mainly composed of microcomputers. We are chaired by the Highway Science Research Institute under the Ministry of Communications.
