黄芝冈的学术追求与学术贡献主要表现在以下四个方面:1.力求抓住神话形态、民歌形态进行追本溯源式的研究,企图找出各地民间文学的本质联系;2.从对中国南北方普遍存在但学术界熟视无睹的秧歌一类(采茶、花鼓等)民间小戏的研究出发,最终揭示出中国民间戏剧发生、发展的一般轨迹;3.清醒地认识到“神话戏”与“迷信戏”的区别,并提出了区分二者的基本标准;4.对汤显祖重“情”的一面给予了热情的赞扬和讴歌,并指出了汤显祖的思想发展过程和时代精神。
Huang Zhigang’s academic pursuit and academic contributions mainly in the following four aspects: 1. Seek to seize the mythology, folk songs to trace the origin of the study, in an attempt to find out the essential relationship between the local folk literature; 2. from the north and south of China The general study of the folk small plays such as yangko which is ubiquitous but is neglected by the academe turns out to be the general track of the occurrence and development of Chinese folk drama. “Superstition drama”, and put forward the basic criteria to distinguish the two; 4. On the Tang Xianzu heavy “love” side gave warm tribute and praise, and pointed out Tang Xianzu thought development process and the spirit of the times.
