信息化正在为济宁市的转型提供支撑力量。近几年,济宁市经信委抓住资源型城市转型的机遇,加快转方式、调结构步伐,突出发展信息产业,使信息产业呈现快速发展的势头。“十二五”开局之年,济宁市已经交了一个不错的成绩单。目前,我市已经建成了以光纤为主,卫星和微波通信为辅,集程控化、数字化交换为一体的高速通信网络。我市通信基站达5500处,今年累计投资近亿元,覆盖全市市区、县城、乡镇、农村,其中3G基站主要覆盖市区、县城和重点的厂矿。
