《孤独行星旅游指南》中指出,欧洲通常被称作大陆,其实称为半岛更合适。它三面环海,地中海、大西洋和北海。这些年,我先后八次前往欧洲旅游,看惯了大教堂、大广场和市政厅,反而对海滨,对大海更添几分留恋。因为有了大海,人类与之为伴,濒海而居,由此一座座名城临海而建,蓬勃发展。城因海而兴旺,海因城而闻名。在欧洲的海滨,目睹大海时而波涛汹涌时而诡谲多变时而轻浪拍岸,我的思绪也像浪花那般飞溅……
