甜瓜疫霉病系疫霉菌(Phytophthora melonis)侵染所致,在新疆发生较为普遍,有的年份发生严重。以往对此病的病原鉴定、病原菌生物学特性等做了一些研究和报道,但对种子带菌及带菌种子能否成为第二年初侵染源还不甚了解。为明确瓜种子是否带菌及其在病害传播中的作用,我们于1986年进行了甜瓜疫霉病种子带菌研究。 1.大田生产用种子带菌检测 1986年春从玛纳斯县园艺场和乌鲁木齐市三坪农场取大田生产用种,分别于4月22,23和24日将250,200和200粒甜瓜种子置选择性培养基(PARPH)上分离培养,5天后观察,均未检出疫霉菌。
