活动背景东源小学是全国唯一一所周恩来题词的农村小学,1939年1月,周恩来同志应我校创始人赵志尧先生的邀请为学校建校留下了“中华民族新希望”的光辉题词。题词凝聚着周恩来同志对祖国新一代殷切的期望,深含着周恩来同志伟大的爱国情怀和强烈的民族责任感,深含着周恩来同志寄希望于包括东源小学在内的所有中华少年要奋发图强、振兴中华、复兴中华的伟大夙愿。作为周总理题词小学广大教师和家长都应以题词为荣,铭记自己肩负的神圣使命,按照题词要求努力学习,使自己成为一名合格、优秀的“新希望”之师长。并以此来引领广大少先队员学习周恩来(以下简称“学周”)精神,实践题词精神,全力培育“新希望”之生。
