调查研究结果表明淮北棉区棉铃虫齿唇姬蜂发生6月上旬至9月上旬共有4~5个高峰,分别在6月中旬、7月初、7月下旬至8月初、8月中下旬至9月上旬。其中较大的峰出现在6月底至7月初、8月底至9月初,对棉铃虫的控制作用较强,不同作物上对棉铃虫的控制作用相差较大,以花生田寄生率最高。不同作物布局类型中以棉花,玉米及花生相间套邻作对该蜂较为有利。蜜源植物对该蜂控制棉铃虫作用有一定影响,在该蜂成虫盛期提供适当的蜜源是增强其作用的有效途径。Bt及抑太保等生物农药对寄生率没有影响,而化学农药很大程度控制该蜂寄生作用。
