在与台湾岛一水之隔的厦门举办投洽会,一个重要的出发点就是要充分发挥福建特有的对台区位优势和人缘优势,推动两岸经贸交流与合作,吸引更多的台商到祖国大陆投资兴业。历届投洽会都注重做好对台文章,凸显对台优势。每届投洽会均吸引数千名台商参会。同时,会上签订的台商投资项目也逐年上升。投洽会还将继续积极吸引台商赴大陆投资,推动两岸经贸合作向深层次发展。
