翻译是一种语言现象 ,更是一种社会文化现象 ,它的一系列重要特征就属于社会语言学研究的范畴。语言的社会变体和差异是社会语言学研究的重要问题 ,也是翻译涉及社会语言学的一个重要方面。对语言的社会变体的处理是翻译过程中时常遇到的问题 ,并日益受到人们重视。在翻译中正确处理语言和言语的社会变体 ,应该注意原文的语体、方言、洋泾浜、人物语言特点等方面
Translation is a linguistic phenomenon, but also a social and cultural phenomenon. Its series of important features belong to the category of sociolinguistics. Social variations and differences in language are important issues in the study of sociolinguistics. They are also an important aspect of translation in sociolinguistics. The handling of the social variants of language is a common problem in the process of translation and is receiving more and more attention. In dealing with the proper translation of social variants of language and speech, we should pay attention to the original language style, dialect, pidgin, characters and other aspects of language
