The improvement of the emergency system remains to be systematically reviewed and relentlessly repaired. The outbreak of SARS in 2003 has given heavy losses to China as a whole and also objectively promoted the construction of China’s public health emergency response system. In the past ten years, emergency response offices around the country have mushroomed. The CDCs and medical institutions that specialize in responding to infectious diseases have been growing rapidly, and public health emergency personnel have also been expanded.
