语言学家、诗人、书画家孙功炎与我国著名教育家叶圣陶先生交往40年,情深意笃,催人奋进。这是研究二老科教思想的一份生动教材。 “尊师爱生”的典范 叶老十分重视、尊重和关心教师。50年前,叶老和吕叔湘、周予同、郭绍虞诸先生共同编辑《国文月刊》。孙功炎是四川江津县前国立九中的语文教师。当时正是抗战后期,国难当头,教师生活困难,四川的国文课本高中第六册上有一篇朱熹的《仁说》,发挥了朱熹仁的学说,同时又批驳了谢良佐(上蔡)和杨时(龟山)两派的主张。孙功炎重教好学,他考察了《宋元学案》,写成了《仁说疏证》,对于当时以学术文为主的高三教学起到了促进作用。1946年6月,孙功炎回到上海,在家里把这篇文章整理誊写,投寄给《国文月刊》。

Sun Gongyan taught hard to learn, he inspected the “case of the Song and Yuan Dynasties,” wrote “benevolence Shuzheng”, for the academic text-based teaching at the senior high school has played a catalytic role. In June 1946, Sun Gongyan returned to Shanghai, finishing the article at home and posting it to the Chinese Monthly.
