罗涵先在20世纪50年代曾给两位“大人物”当秘书——先是1951年给时任中国民主同盟中央副主席兼任中央宣传委员会主任的罗隆基当秘书,后来成为新中国首任司法部部长、全国妇联副主席史良的秘书。他成为史良的秘书,完全是因为史良的一句话——有一天史良走进罗隆基办公室,看见罗隆基和罗涵先在那里,她便对罗隆基说:“你能写文章,罗涵先也能写文章,两个会写文章的人何必凑在一起?从今天开始,罗涵先就是我的秘书!”
In the 1950s, Luo Han first gave two “big names” as secretaries. First, Luo Longji became secretary of the Central Propaganda Commission when he was the then vice chairman of China Democracy Coalition in 1951, and later became the first justice minister of New China Minister, the All-China Women’s Federation Vice Chairman Shi Liang’s secretary. He became Shilan’s secretary, entirely because of Shilan’s remark - one day Shiliang walked into Luo Longji’s office and saw Luo Longji and Luo Han first there, she said to Luo Longji: “You can write an essay, Luo Hanxian can write Article, why two people who will write articles together? From today onwards, Luo Han first is my secretary! ”
