台湾目前共有9所医学院,设有中医系,进行高等中医药教育的只有私立中国医药学院。1958年成立的中国医药学院,创办之初只招医科、药学系学生。到1966年8月才增设中医学系。目前,该学院已经发展为具有9个学系、5个研究所、1个博士班的综合性医科大学。建校33年来,造就医师4200余人,其中1300余人具有中、西医师双重资格,药剂人才亦有4000人左右,各研究所的硕士毕业生约200余人,博士生6人。从1972年首届中医大学毕业生至1990年共培养中医师1505人。是台湾培养中医人才的基地。以下就该学院的中医教育进行简要介绍。中医学系:1966年创设,首期只招新生43人,学制6年。1972年,陈立夫先生任该学院董事长后,着手
There are currently 9 medical schools in Taiwan, with a department of traditional Chinese medicine, and only the private institute of Chinese medicine in higher education of traditional Chinese medicine. Founded in 1958, China Medical College, founded at the beginning only recruit medical, pharmacy students. By August 1966, there was no additional department of Chinese medicine. At present, the college has developed into a comprehensive medical university with 9 departments, 5 institutes and 1 doctoral course. Over the past 33 years since the founding of the university, more than 4,200 physicians have been created, among which over 1,300 have the dual qualifications of Chinese and Western doctors. About 4,000 pharmacy personnel are also employed. There are about 200 graduate students and 6 doctoral students at various institutes. From 1972, the first Chinese university graduates to 1990 trained a total of 1505 Chinese medicine practitioners. Taiwan is the base for training TCM personnel.
