河南博物院的前身是河南省立博物馆,从1927年成立以来,光阴荏苒,人事变迁,八十多年一路走来,成为中国大陆名列前茅的历史类博物馆。1937年河南博物馆文物南迁和1945年部分南迁文物的运台,是河南博物院发展史上一段重要的史实。而台北历史博物馆1955年成立之初入藏的首批文物,就是前河南省博物馆的南迁运台古物。这段特殊的文物际遇,正是1998年以来海峡两岸两馆缔结友
Henan Museum is the predecessor of the Henan Provincial Museum, since its inception in 1927, time flies, personnel changes, more than 80 years along the way, becoming China’s leading museum of history. The relocation of Henan Museum Relics to the south in 1937 and the relocation of some relics to the south in 1945 were an important historical fact in the history of the development of the Henan Museum. The first batch of cultural relics collected at the beginning of the founding of the Taipei Historical Museum in 1955 is the antiquated southward move of the former Henan Provincial Museum. This special case of cultural relics is the result of the establishment of friendship between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait since 1998
