Example 1 Figure 1 is a three-dimensional view (in cm) of a geometry. Try to find the surface area and volume of the geometry. The easy-to-understand geometry is composed of a cylinder and a circular table. The lateral area of the cylinder is S_1=2π·1·1=2π, and the base area is S_2=π·1~2=π.
