Objective To explore the impact of cluster nursing intervention on self-care ability and quality of life in hemodialysis patients. Methods A total of 116 patients undergoing hemodialysis in our hospital from September 2014 to August 2015 were randomly divided into control group and study group, 58 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing and the study group received intensive care. Before and after nursing care than two groups of self-care ability and quality of life. Results The scores of hemodialysis knowledge, dialysis attitude, self-care skills, compliance and self-care ability score increased after nursing in both groups, and the scores of the study group and the total score were higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of self-care ability, body state, mental state, social relationship and quality of life scores of two groups increased after nursing, and the scores of the study group and the total score were higher than the control group (P <0.05 ). Conclusions The intensive care has a significant effect on the hemodialysis patients’ care, and both self-care ability and quality of life improve, which is worthy of being widely applied in clinical nursing.
