提纯复壮是克服品种混杂退化,提高种性,增加产量的有效措施。水稻原种生产程序可概括为“一选三圃”,即在选择单株的基础上,按株行圃、株系圃和原种圃三个程序生产原种。近年来在工作中接触到有这样的议论:即所谓“纯系内选择无效”。这在一定意义上说,本来是指对选育新品种的某种看法。可是通过单株选择、分系比较所生产的原种,至少是否有提高种性的效果呢?为了说清问题,还必须先从纯系学说谈起。
