作者最近分析了五例脑活检标本经病毒培养证实为单纯疮疹病毒脑炎(HSE)的病例.于首次CT扫描前1-7天已有相应的脑炎症状,年龄范围在9个月-63岁.五例脑脊液中单核细胞增多.三例病人脑血管造影正常.脑电图从弥散性慢波到局灶性尖及棘波活动.首次脑CT扫描结果正常.而再次对每一个病人进行CT扫描后发现有一例病人右颞叶有一低密度的放射线透明区的影象.以往用无损伤的技术早期诊断HSE既是困难而又不可靠.虽然单疱抗原在CSF淋巴细胞中有阳性的免疫荧光表现是
