本文以城市公共空间设计为客体进行分析,对空间设计中传统文化的表达进行了系统的阐述,概略了公共建筑与传统民族文化表达应该有的基本要素,总结出城市公共空间设计中如何表达传统文化的设计手法,传统文化的现代转换是社会历史的必然产物,传承和发展传统文化不能停滞于形式上的模仿,而是要研究和认识其所涵括的设计思想和艺术意涵,真正理解中国传统文化的本质精神,并加以现代体现,以求得当代建筑创新。
