莱州市位于山东半岛中部偏北,总面积1816平方公里,市辖29处乡镇,1015个行政村;总人口87.59万,其中农业人口占90.91％;89年工农业总产值20.1亿元,农民人均纯收入822元。全市有市直医疗卫生机构11处,乡镇卫生院26处,厂、矿院所71处;卫生技术人员1832名,平均每千人口占有2.1人;床位1827张,平均每千人口占有1.52张。全市村村有卫生所,乡村医生1824人,平均每千农民占有2.29人。近十年米,在改革开放中我市卫生工作以“2000年人人享有卫生保健”为目标,以全面实施初级卫生保健为中心,
Laizhou City is located in the north of the central part of the Shandong peninsula with a total area of 1816 square kilometers. It has 29 townships and 1015 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of the city; the total population is 875,900, of which the agricultural population accounts for 90.91%; the total industrial and agricultural output value in 2005 was 2.01 billion yuan, and the per capita farmer’s income is 0.21 billion yuan.
