中国数学会五十周年年会于1985年12月6日至10日在上海复旦大学隆重举行.来自全国各地的优秀数学工作者250余人济济一堂,他们用自己出色的科研成果向中国数学会成立五十周年大庆献礼.中国科协主席周培源、中国科学院副院长周光召、复旦大学校长谢希德特地到会表示祝贺.著名美籍中国数学家陈省身、著名法国数学家H.嘉当(H.Cartan)等16位外国数学家也应邀前来参加庆典,他们带来了国外同行们的深厚情谊.
The 50th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Mathematical Society was held at Fudan University in Shanghai from December 6 to December 10, 1985. More than 250 excellent mathematical workers from all over the country gathered together to present their excellent achievements in scientific research to the Chinese Mathematical Society Zhou Peizhao, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Xie Xide, the president of Fudan University, congratulated the famous American Chinese mathematician Chern Chen, famous French mathematician H. Cartan, etc. Sixteen foreign mathematicians were also invited to attend the celebration, bringing deep friendship from their counterparts abroad.
