在计算机网络普及之前,人们获取新闻资源主要通过报纸,因此,报纸一度成为大多数人获取新闻信息的主要渠道。近几十年来,随着计算机科技的不断发展以及网络的普及,各种新媒体形式如雨后春笋般涌现出来,人们可以通过手机和电脑等电子产品随时随地获取新闻资讯,在一定程度上摆脱了对报纸的依赖。但是,新媒体并不能完全代替报纸,新媒体的新闻质量参差不齐,许多新媒体只为吸引眼球,其内容的真实性及内涵都远不及报纸。报纸作为高质量的信息载体,仍有其存在的意义。面对新媒体的冲击,报纸应该作出反应,不断改革,保持旺盛的生命力,为我国新闻事业的发展作出重要贡献。
