人们在生活上需要热能。在工农业生产、特别是热力发动机上,更需要热能。随着科学和技术的进步,需要的热能越来越多。自古以来,人们所使用的热能,主要来源于燃料——煤、油、天然气等。但是地球上这些燃料的蕴藏量有限,如果不设法开源节流,按照现今燃料使用的增长速度估计,不到几百年就将用完。人们预见到这些,所以千方百计地设法节约燃料。例如合理地开发燃料资源;提高燃料燃烧和热力发动机的效率,减少热损失。另一方面,人们积极开辟新能源。例如利用水
People need heat in their lives. In industrial and agricultural production, especially heat engines, heat energy is more needed. With the advancement of science and technology, more and more thermal energy is needed. Since ancient times, the heat energy used by people has mainly come from fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas. However, the reserves of these fuels on the planet are limited. If we do not manage to increase revenue and reduce expenditure, we estimate that the current fuel use rate of growth will run out in less than a few hundred years. People foresaw this, so they tried every means to save fuel. For example, the rational development of fuel resources; improve fuel combustion and heat engine efficiency, reduce heat loss. On the other hand, people actively open up new energy sources. For example using water
