我国是世界上四大文明古国之一,已具有五千年的文明史。可是仔细讲起来,却到不了此数。因此,国务院启动“夏商周断代工程”。经过众多专家学者几年的共同努力,已经取得阶段性的成果,公布了《夏商周年表》,将我国可信的历史从西周共和元年,即公元前841年,往前推至夏代的始年,即公元前2070年。这一科研成果,无疑具有重大的学术意义,将在国内外产生重大的影响。
