阐述了我国当前农业形势，要求搞农业资源区划的同志，应在农业资源潜力的开发利用和增产任务的区域布局和增产对策上，提出见解和建议，供领导部门宏观决策时参考。并针对落实农业资源区划的职能，提出了（一）关于农业资源区划的管理工作；（二）关于农业资源和农业自然生态环境的调查评价、动态监测工作；（三）关于编制农业资源开发利用保护规划工作；（四）关于农业区域开发治理实验区工作等四条具体意见。
This article expounds the current situation of agriculture in our country and calls for the demarcation of agricultural resources. Comrades should put forward their opinions and suggestions on the regional layout and measures to increase the output of agricultural resources, and make them available for reference by the leading departments in making macro decisions.
