We have succeeded in treating 25 cases of acute gastrointestinal bleeding with endoscopic titanium clips since May 1998. The results reported below. 1 objects and methods 1.1 cases source: gastrointestinal endoscopy clinic and hospitalized patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding 25 cases, 15 males and 10 females; aged 20 to 68 years, mean 47 years. All cases had hematemesis, melena or bright red bloody stools within 24 hours
