格状编码调制(TCM)可以在相同的频带利用率下 ,使信号得到2.55dB~7.37dB的编码增益 ,在数字通信中得到了广泛的应用。而目前对格状编码调制进行译码的有效手段是应用概率译码技术的维特比 (Viterbi)译码算法 ,可以充分地体现TCM的优点。因此以TCM_16QAM为例 ,在简要讨论Viterbi译码算法一般原理的基础上 ,介绍了软判决Viterbi译码算法的译码过程及其用DSP技术实现Viterbi译码算法的步骤和软件流程。
Trellis coded modulation (TCM) can make the signal gain 2.55dB ~ 7.37dB coding gain under the same frequency band utilization, and has been widely used in digital communication. At present, the effective means of decoding trellis-coded modulation is the Viterbi decoding algorithm using probability decoding, which can fully reflect the advantages of TCM. Therefore, taking TCM_16QAM as an example, based on a brief discussion of the general principle of Viterbi decoding algorithm, the decoding process of soft-decision Viterbi decoding algorithm and the procedure and software flow of Viterbi decoding algorithm using DSP are introduced.
