蛾眉电影制片厂、四川省电影发行放映公司成都市电影发行放映公司、四川省影视评论学会、四川省电影家协会、成都市电影家协会,于元月七、八两日联合举办峨影新片试映会。除这五个单位、团体的领导及有关人员外,会议还邀请了四川省、成都市理论、评论界和成都市部分影院搞宣传发行的同志共一百余人参加。会上放映了峨影厂八七年完成的《京都球侠》、《残照》、《红与白》、《过江》及《梦想家》等影片。放映后举行了座谈。现将其中对《残照》据李宽定小说《山月儿》改编)的意见摘发于后: 吴静(四川省社科院文研所):《红与白》和《残照》两片的努力应予肯定,它们有自己的文体。人物的内心在冷漠,单调的环境中表现得丰富而复杂,或许有的观众还是喜欢看的,我们要诱导新观众喜欢它。吴信训(四川大学讲师):《残》片选材不够好,内容不新。
