国际在线专稿:日本《朝日新闻》7月21日报道,为了打破西方媒体的世界主导地位,中国媒体趁外国新闻机构处于财政困境的时机,开始崭露头角。7月1日,新华社主办的中国新华新闻电视网(CNC,简称“中国电视网”)英语环球频道正式开播。新华社是中国最大的官方媒体,工作人员13000多人,在130个国家和地区设有分支机构。CNC正试图成为中国的CNN(美国有线新闻电视网),24小时播发中国和世界新闻。除了卫星广播外,CNC也提供网络和手机新闻。
