隧道中光面爆破的实质是通过控制爆破的作用范围和方向按照隧道断面的设计轮廓线合理布置周边炮眼而进行的一种控制爆破,即爆破光面层,而实施爆破之后,在隧道周边形成一个光滑平整的边壁,使隧道断面既符合设计轮廓要求,又减弱爆破振动对围岩的扰动,从而保持围岩的完整和自身承载能力,以减少超、欠挖和支护的工程量,增加岩壁的稳定性,进而达到控制岩体开挖轮廓的一种技术。
