英语语言文化类拓展课课程不仅能提高学生语言综合运用能力,还能加深其对主要英语国家社会与文化的了解,提升文化素养,提高多元文化意识,有利于今后的涉外工作和国际交流。在该类课程中使用任务型教学法,可以更好地使学生在学习并练习英语各技能的同时,加深其对他国社会与文化的理解。本文旨在以《美国国家概况》为例,提出本课程的具体任务教学法的模式。
The course of English language and culture expansion can not only improve students’ ability of comprehensive use of language, but also deepen their understanding of society and culture in major English-speaking countries, enhance cultural accomplishment, raise awareness of multiculturalism and facilitate foreign-related work and international exchanges in the future. Using task-based pedagogy in such curriculums can better enable students to deepen their understanding of the social and cultural aspects of other countries as they learn and practice their English skills. The purpose of this paper is to take the “American Country Profile” as an example to propose the specific mission teaching method for this course.
