随着外语教学的进一步发展,越来越多的小学开始开设外语课,其中主要是英语。小学阶段开设英语课是社会生活信息化和经济活动全球化对基础教育提出的新要求,也是落实“教育要面向现代化、面向世界、面向未来”战略思想的重要举措。但是,由于诸多原因,现在小学英语教学的质量还不尽如人意,当前农村小学在开设英语课的过程中的确遇到不少问题。笔者现就当前小学开设英语课存在的问题及相应的对策谈几点看法。
With the further development of foreign language teaching, more and more primary schools begin to set up foreign language courses, mainly English. The opening of English classes in primary school is a new requirement for basic education brought about by the informatization of social life and the globalization of economic activities and is also an important measure for implementing the strategic thinking of “education should be oriented toward modernization, facing the world and facing the future.” However, due to many reasons, the quality of primary school English teaching is not yet satisfactory. At present, rural primary schools do encounter many problems in setting up English classes. I now talk about the current problems in English classes in primary schools and the corresponding measures to talk about.
