山东省寿光市文化馆的青年画家于新生自1975年起从事美术创作。他于1980年创作的年画《木兰梳妆》入选了第二届全国美展,并为中国美术馆收藏。1991年为《中国儿歌一千首》作的插图,入选在意大利举行的第25届世界儿童图书插图展览,成为在这次展览会上中国唯一的一件入选作品。1993年他与周峰创作的《中国十大古典喜剧》插图荣获文化部举办的“’93全国群星美术大展”铜奖,作品又一次为中国美术馆收藏。1994年他的《中国古代寓言》连环画入选“第八届全国美展获奖作品展”,再度为中国美术馆收藏。1993年他应山东工艺
Yu Xinsheng, a young painter from the Shouguang Cultural Center in Shandong Province, has been engaged in art creation since 1975. His New Year drawing “Magnolia Dress Up”, which was created in 1980, was selected for the 2nd National Art Exhibition and collected for the China Art Museum. In 1991, “China’s Children’s Songs, a thousand” for illustrations, selected in Italy in the 25th world children’s book illustrations exhibition, become China’s only selected works at this exhibition. In 1993 he and Zhou Feng’s “China Top Ten Classical Comedy” illustrations won the “93 National Bronze Art Exhibition” bronze medal held by the Ministry of Culture.
