铝合金现代直接水冷铸造法往往由于铸造期间铸锭裂纹不能高速铸造而使生产率受到了限制。这一点对于127-203毫米直径范围内占铸造吨位很大部分的6063合金挤压锭尤其是重要的。在过去的几年中,依靠严密控制铸造条件和采用较好的晶粒细化法,在工业上实现的铸造速度只有较小的提高。而一次铸造的铸锭数量已经达到了铸模凸缘相接触的程度。所以,解决裂纹问题以提高铸造速度,就会消除对直接水冷铸造方法生产
Modern aluminum alloy direct water-cooled foundry methods often limit productivity due to the fact that ingot cracks can not be cast at high speeds during casting. This is of particular importance for the 6063 alloy ingot, which accounts for a significant portion of the foundry tonnage in the 127-203 mm diameter range.
