本文论述了公共图书馆作为社会公益性文化事业,是社会公益事业的核心部分。关爱现实生活中的弱势群体,给予其文化的扶持和帮助,为其提供知识服务、信息服务,使其得到实现自由发展的条件,是图书馆义不容辞的责任和义务。从弱势群体的界定和构成,浅析了弱势群体的特征,结合图书馆的职能和自身所具有的优势,就图书馆如何更好的为弱势群体服务提出一些看法。
This article discusses the public library as a public welfare cultural undertakings, is the core of social welfare. Care for the disadvantaged groups in real life, to give their cultural support and help to provide them with knowledge services, information services, enabling them to achieve the conditions for the free development of the library is an unshirkable responsibility and obligation of the library. From the definition and composition of the disadvantaged groups, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the disadvantaged groups, and puts forward some suggestions on how the library can better serve the disadvantaged groups by combining the functions of the library and its advantages.
