January 24, 1983 to February 1, Britain’s tap workers and water pipe workers strike at the same time, has become a hot topic of Western press coverage. It is natural to report this matter from many angles to choose from: the scale of the strike, the reasons for the strike, the employers ’and governments’ responses, the views of all parties on this incident, and so on. However, the correct coverage may not be the best coverage. I collected more than a dozen articles about the strike. After careful comparison, I felt that the coverage of the selection of APT’s “tap-workers strike, residents grumble” (hereinafter referred to as “strike”) slightly better. Where does the report from the Associated Press’s “strike” draft stand out? Cleverly reports on the strike itself in terms of its impact on the lives of thousands of ordinary people in the wake of the strike. AP Telephones have readers all over the world, UK tap workers strike, not directly related to readers from other countries, from other angles (such as from the perspective of striking workers or the British government) reported that the strike, the attractiveness of manuscripts may be restricted. However, it is reported from the impact of the strike on the life of the residents
