8月10日,“纪念包尔汉同志逝世20周年座谈会”在京举行。包尔汉·沙希迪(1894-1989),维吾尔族,是中国穆斯林著名学者、社会活动家,中国伊斯兰教协会的发起筹建者之一。曾任全国政协副主席,中国伊斯兰教协会主任、名誉会长等职。他热爱祖国和自己的民族,为维护祖国统一和民族团结,为促进中国人民同世界各国人民和穆斯林兄弟的团结贡献了自己毕生的精力,在中国人民和各族穆斯林中享有崇高的威望。
August 10, “Symposium on Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the Death of Comrade Baulham” was held in Beijing. Baulhan Shahdi (1894-1989), a Uighur ethnic group, is one of the founding members of a prominent Muslim Chinese community, social activist and the Chinese Islamic Association. Former vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, China Islamic Association director, honorary president and other staff. He loves the motherland and his own people. He contributed his lifelong energies to safeguarding the unity of the motherland and national unity and the Chinese people’s unity with the peoples of the world and the Muslim brothers. He enjoys a high prestige among the Chinese people and Muslims of all ethnic groups.
