The number of people exposed to coal dust. China’s 1956 provisions of the maximum allowable concentration of coal dust 10 mg / cubic meters, has not changed. The allowable value of inhalable coal mine dust regulated by the Federal Coal Mine Health and Safety Law (1969) is 2 mg / m3 ~ 2. Japan Institute of Industrial Hygiene (1980) revised total dust dust allowable value of 3 mg / m3 ~ 3. Therefore, the current maximum allowable concentration of coal dust in our country can fully protect the health of workers, it is worth further study. To this end, we conducted a survey on the working conditions of the underground wells and the workers’ health status in the south inclined shaft of Zhajianuoer Coal Mine, and also made an experimental study on the pathogenicity of lignite dust in an attempt to discuss the maximum allowable concentration of lignite dust.
