中国共产党优秀党员、中国社会科学院外国文学研究所名誉所长、一级研究员、中国作家协会副主席、中国外国文学学会会长、著名诗人、学者和教育家冯至同志因病医治无效,于1993年2月22日在北京逝世,享年88岁。冯至同志1905年9月17日出生于河北涿州,原名冯承植,字君培。1916年考入北京京师公立第四中学。1921年和1923年先后考入北京大学预科和本科德文系。1927年毕业后,赴哈尔滨担任第一中学国文教师,翌年下学期任教于北京孔德学校和北京大学德文系。1930年赴德国留学,先后在海德堡大学和柏林大学攻读德国文学,兼修美术史和哲学。1935年在海德堡大学获博士学位,同年回国。翌年任同济大学教授兼附设高级中学主任。抗日战争期间,随同济大学内
Feng Shui, an honorary director of the Institute of Foreign Literature of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, a researcher, a vice chairman of the Chinese Writers Association, president of the Chinese Association of Foreign Literatures, a famous poet, scholar and educator, was invalidated in 1993 February 22, died in Beijing at the age of 88. Feng Zhi was born on September 17, 1905 in Danzhou, Hebei Province, formerly known as Feng Chengzhi, Zi Junpei. In 1916 admitted to Beijing Capital Normal Fourth High School. 1921 and 1923 admitted to Peking University Foundation and undergraduate German Department. After graduating in 1927, he went to Harbin to serve as the first-grade secondary school Chinese teacher. Later in the next year, he taught at Beijing Comte School and Devin Department of Peking University. In 1930 to study in Germany, he studied at the University of Heidelberg and Berlin University German literature, and art history and philosophy. He received a doctorate from Heidelberg University in 1935 and returned to China in the same year. The following year Ren Tongji University professor and attached senior high school director.
