机床导轨面爬行和摩擦面发出噪音的现象,往往在速度低、负荷大、摩擦面难以贮存润滑油的情况下(如垂直丝杆螺母、立式导轨等)发生。发生爬行、噪音现象时的摩擦状态是很复杂的,包含了干摩擦、边界摩擦、液体摩擦,而且多处于过渡状态及不断变化之中。当摩擦面发出噪音时,发音处已纯属干摩擦。边界摩擦和干摩擦的摩擦系数,远远大于液体摩擦的摩擦系数(如表1所列),此时机件磨损当然也就大。所以决不能认为爬行和噪音无关重要。
