一位领导同志从财政局长的岗位上任期届满退了下 来,由于他为政清廉,身居要职而一尘不染,受到了群 众的广泛好评。然而,少数亲友却私下里议论他,当了 一回“财神爷”,却没能抱回“金元宝”。这位领导同志 淡然一笑说:“‘金元宝’谁都喜欢,可那不是我的东西, 我不敢拿啊!”
A leading comrade stepped down from his post as Financial Secretary and was spotlessly accorded high regard for his political integrity and occupying prime positions and was well received by the masses. However, a handful of relatives and friends talked about him in private, as a “Fortuna”, but failed to hold back the “gold ingot.” The leader comrades smiled indifferently and said: “Everyone likes gold ingots, but that is not my thing, I can not take it!”
