20世纪初留日中国知识分子笔下的关键词包含着中国近现代文化演变的诸多信息。“新民”、“心力”的出现则代表了一代学人试图改变现实、重新选择未来的实践方略。“新民”是中国知识分子在一个“列国竞争”的时代,从国家主义的立场出发所设计的民族改造理想;而“心力”则与西方意志主义思想相联系,体现了近代中国知识分子“自觉、坚韧、果敢”地选择现代化走向时强化意志的要求,与西方意志论思潮,特别是西方19世纪以后的唯意志论思想有着密切的联系。
The key words written by Chinese intellectuals in Japan at the beginning of the 20th century contain a great deal of information on the evolution of Chinese modern culture.
